Registered half-Arabian. She is a National Show Horse and is 3/4 Polish Arabian of Muzulmanin lineage and 1/4 Saddlebred out of Madame Muzul (whose dam is Miss Georgia Ellen).
Big, beautiful, dynamic mover, 12 yrs old.
Merlynne is 15.1 hds; foaled 28 May 1996.
Merlynne has a unique history. She was born and raised at Meadowsong Farms in Templeton, Calif. and lived running with the herd on 30 acres of steep terrian.
Merlynne came to my place in January 2006 to get re-started so she could become a nice riding horse for someone. She has done great; she is trainable, willing, personable and friendly. She has a big ground-covering trot and would make a good Dressage, Sport horse, Halter or Breeding Prospect. Merlynne has good lift, good time off ground and ability to uphill in the canter. She also has a good saddle position score.
Merlynne has nice suspension. The rider that is going to appreciate her gait is one who has ridden dressage horses, saddlebreds or sport horses. Visitors fall in love with how beautiful Merlynne is and how personable she is. Merlynne is a fine horse; a diamond found in the rough terrain. (Her big white star is in the shape of a diamond :).
